It's 85 Degrees....
... So we spent an afternoon walking Papio Trail and letting Jaxson get out some of his pent-up energy! Man....he is one energetic little guy. I can barely keep up. He refuses to slow down and walk...he would rather run at full speed. There were a few times I feared him face planting the pavement and ruining his two little front teeth:) We had a nice walk...and have been trying to enjoy some of our favortie locations while this beautiful weather lasts.
I wasn't thinking and jaxson was wearing flip-flops for our little walk. He has a fascination with his shoes lately...and is always holding them, taking them off and then trying to put them back on, etc. He is hilarious! His little personality is larger than life...and I can't believe how "NOT SHY" he is. I always thought his temperment would be more like Jarom's....but I don't know where he came from. Jarom and I spend a lot of hours laughing at him each day.

This picture is out of order...but Jaxson was getting a little talk about running away from his mother! Check out his face. This was the third or 50th time I had asked him to slow down! Also...the fact that a huge rivine with a running river was about 3 steps away from the trail didn't calm my nerves any. He would keep peeking back over his shoulder and if I was TOO CLOSE to him he would take off running faster. When I would run after him he would let out a huge gut laugh like he had been caught. AAAGHHH...he is crazy!
His flip-flops were hindering his ability to run...so he took them off and ran in his bare feet. My first instinct was to resist...but he's a boy, so I just let him go. He loved it.
I love his little teeth...and that scrunched nose grin. It makes my day so much better.
Loving the outdoors!
Oh, how I was ready for summer!
~ my little stinker enjoying his cubs blanket made for him my aunt Kayla~After all that running...he needed a drink. He gulps and gulps. Lately he soaks through his pants like 3-4 times a day. We have gone through soooo many diapers...it's crazy. He loves my big mug of water...and drinking out of a straw....because he is always running he works up quite the thirst.

Taking a break with dad.
