I'm 6 Months, I love Fall...and Happy Halloween!

Jaxson turned 6 months last week....and in honor of his 1/2 birthday we decided to get more pictures! Jarom is getting awfully sick of this little ritual...but I'm learning quickly that "picture day" in the life of a parent is more expensive than a trip to the ER! We combined the trip and got six month pictures, Fall pictures, and Halloween all in one! It was so much fun for me....I just love things like that, and... well jarom, he ENDURED. I'm jumping the gun a bit by already having Halloween pictures taken, but I couldn't resist. Those who know me understand just HOW EXCITED I get about every holiday...and having a kid makes holidays that much more fun! After much thought and deliberation...little jaxson is going to be the cutest giraffe you've ever seen!

We got his pics taken right after his nap...and he was GREAT, but I'm not sure he was that awake. He just stared at the camera...instead of his usual GRIN:)
HOW SWEET! I love FALL.....did I mention that?

I got a huge one of this picture to hang in my house throughout the season! Fall is my favorite. It is so WONDERFUL outside! The pumpkin patch is open.... and the leaves are all changing! Tonight we bundled up and had a Husker Football game pizza party! It is so much fun to get jaxson all bundled up and go for walks....and it is such a relief from the HUMIDITY omaha gets during the summer:)
I can't wait to see what he thinks of carving pumpkins...he was fascinated by the cute plastic ones!

I KNOW.....precious, right? Of course, I realize I am his mother....but look at that picture. I got so many...my house will look ridiculous if I actually hang even half of them!

I got this one really big for my bedroom....my bedroom is red, so I justified it because it matches, HA HA! Also----this one was so perfect to remember his "6 months" because he is always rolling over and getting excited to start crawling.

Jaxson is so fun right now...and jarom and are LOVING this stage. He is interested in everything and is soooo alert. He is rolling over and over and loves to play with toys...BUT is not mobile yet (I hope this stage lasts a while...but I'm afraid it won't). He has almost mastered sitting up on his bottom by himself this week....and is scooting a bit. I'm thinking crawling is coming soon. HE loves to eat and will dive or jump for anything you eat in front of him. He gobbles up EVERY drop of food I give him and will cry for more when it's gone. He is so friendly and loves and cuddles with everyone. He has the most adorable giggle and when he laughs out loud it is the best thing in our day! It can turn any moment into a WONDERFUL one! We are loving life with this little 6 month old! Happy Fall!
