Jaxson loves hanging out in his swing. Ever since he was two weeks old he would just stare in the mirror that hangs above his head. It also has little bugs that spin around and he will just watch them go around with his eyes for hours and hours. Sometimes I feel guilty that he spends so much time in his swing.....but he seems to love it~
Today we went for a walk with a few girls in the ward. I had Jaxson all bundled up because I thought it would be chilly. By the time we got home and I unwrapped him....he was wet from sweating! WHOOPS. You never can be too careful.....
All tucked in! Jaxson has been sleeping in his swing the last few nights because of his reflux. He likes being propped up a little bit. The other night he laid there and stared for almost 2 hours and refused to fall asleep. At least he wasn't crying!
It has been so warm this week. We have pretty much spent all of our time outside. This picture is on our balcony. We watched them fill up our pool today...WAHOO! Look at his face....Jaxson is soooo chubby!
Jarom even did most of his studying for finals out on the balcony today because the weather was so great! We are so looking forward to another year of law school behind us....and a summer full of fun together as a family!
ok....I always swore that I wouldn't strap my child to the front of me. I woud actually laugh at people and thought they looked ridiculous. BUT....LOOK AT ME NOW! When I was 9 months pregnant I had this minor breakdown in Babies R Us and I got really emotional when I realized jaxson wouldn't be carried around with all the time anymore. I impulsively ran to the isle that held these great pack things and bought one...thinking I would carry him with me all the time and that would solve the problem. WELL I decided today was the day and I strapped him to me and went on a walk around the neighborhood. It was so much fun. Especially because I DO look ridiculous but nobody knows me out here in Omaha....so who cares! The only problem is it gave me flashbacks of being pregnant. It felt just like it....I'm already even sore! It was even more great that I could just un-hook the pain whenever I wanted....pregnancy should be like that!
I just love this one.....no other reason for posting it~
Jaxson loves to sleep in our bed with us! I usually make him stay in his bassinet because that is not a habit I want to break later. However, he is starting to figure things out around here and at 4:00 a.m. any screaming that lasts longer than 5 minutes directly results in him being placed right between me and Jarom. It's amazing because two seconds later he is sound asleep. The other day he was so comfortable that he slept for hours and hours and any attempt to wake him caused him to grunt and swing his little fists. This picture makes me laugh because he has taken over our lives....and now our bed! 
We had a wonderful Easter this year. We had a barbeque with a bunch of friends at our house and everyone spent the afternoon coloring eggs and visiting. Jaxson's first Easter was sure a lot more fun for me than it was for him!
For only one month old Jaxson sure got a load from the Easter Bunny! He got a lot of fun sports balls....his very first ball and glove...Dr. Suess books and another pair of shades. LUCKY BOY! Too bad he will never know the amount of work I go to or the money I spend for him! Then again...this picture is proof...YEAH!
Jaxson wasn't that comfortable wearing his new Easter outfit...but man did he look cute! He was pretty upset having to wear a shirt and tie....he got almost as mad as Jarom does when he has to dress up, but getting this cute picture was well worth it!
Jaxson is all ready for summer. At 10 days old he was already sporting his new shades. He has blue ones for the car and red ones for the pool to match his suit. We can't wait for SUMMER! 
Jaxson is a pretty special little boy....considering he is the first grandbaby on both sides of the family! Grandma and Grandpa Forsyth came all the way to Omaha to see him. Grandpa enjoyed holding him and making up silly nicknames for him. He has many plans for Jaxson....teaching him how to hunt and all about cars! 
Daddy loves cuddling with Jaxson!!!Jaxson is a BIG distraction for Jarom and since his birth 4 weeks ago...very little studying or homework has been done:) He loves skipping class and spending all his spare time just holding him and cuddling. DAD sure does have a new toy!
